PAYPAL INSIGHT

PAYPAL INSIGHTS.  We have chosen PayPal to send our gifts.  Follow these insights to set-up your account and avoid fees. 

First, set-up your PayPal account as personal, not business. 

Second, you will need to use a credit or debit card to set-up your account.  Then your first gift off $5 may be charged a small service fee.  But before you send your next gift, you will have received at least 5 gifts from those that are added to your group.  In the future, when you send a gift indicate that you want the money to come out of your PayPal balance.  In so doing, there will be no fees charged.      

Here is what to do when you are ready to send a gift.

1. Click the “Send Money” tab toward the top of the PayPal webpage;
2. Put in the amount you are sending;
3. Enter your Group Leader’s PayPal email, which is available in your back-office;
4. When asked what is it for, type in “Gift”;
5. It will give then give you a choice between “Goods & Services” or “Friends & Family”.  Choose “Friends & Family”;
6. Then click “Send it”.
